Frequently asked questions.

Straight answers about post-construction cleaning in Utah — what's included, how the phases differ, how estimates work, and how to book.

What does post-construction cleaning include?

Post-construction cleaning is the final phase before a home is handed over to the buyer. WellKept's six-point standard covers rough construction debris removal, a detail-clean of all surfaces, glass and fixture polish, floor care by surface type, interior and exterior window cleaning, and a touch-up and punch-out inspection pass. Every job is documented with a signed, timestamped inspection report.

What is the difference between a rough clean, a final clean, and a turnkey clean?

A rough clean removes construction debris — drywall dust, wood shavings, caulk overruns, and tape residue — before detail work begins. A final clean is the detail pass: surfaces cleaned to contact, glass and fixtures polished, material-specific floor care, and windows inside and out. A turnkey multi-phase clean is the full sequence — rough, final white-glove, and a touch-up pass — in one package with one signed inspection report.

How do estimates work, and are they verified on a walk-through?

Our pricing tool gives an approximate range based on square footage, the phase of clean, and add-ons like exterior window polish. That estimate is then confirmed on an on-site or in-person walk-through before work begins — the final quote is set in writing only after that verification, so the number you see is the number you plan around.

What is the signed inspection report?

Every WellKept job ends with a detailed checklist signed off by our lead technician. That record is timestamped and documents the condition of the home at close. It protects you if a buyer raises a concern weeks later — you have evidence of what was cleaned and the condition it was left in.

Which counties and cities does WellKept serve?

We serve builders across Salt Lake County, Utah County, and Summit County. Primary service areas include Salt Lake City, Park City, Draper, South Jordan, Lehi, Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, Provo, and Orem, with additional coverage across the Wasatch Front and Wasatch Back.

Do you offer recurring residential cleaning?

No. WellKept is a builder-only post-construction cleaning service. We don't do recurring residential cleaning — post-construction is our only discipline. That focus is why our crews know how to work alongside your PM team, around your close schedule, and inside an active job site.

Is exterior window cleaning included?

Interior and exterior window cleaning is part of the final clean standard, with frames, sills, and tracks detailed and a final light test confirming clarity before sign-off. Exterior window polish and tracks can also be added as a standalone add-on if you want extra attention on the glass.
